As the 2024 season draws to a close, we would like to thank you for your continued support and patronage at Guildford Lido during the 2024 season and we hope you’ve enjoyed the new and improved facilities at this much-loved community setting.
The Guildford Lido summer season will come to an end on Sunday 15th September 2024 with the pool closing at 6:30pm and the gym closing at 7:00pm. It’s been a fantastic summer season, slightly wetter than many had hoped but the sun has come out and the Lido has been enjoyed by tens of thousands of visitors over the season.
The new changing rooms, outside area improvements such as the family picnic area, anti-wave lane ropes, new padding pool floor, pool surround and tree works have been welcome additions with so many positive reviews and comments by all users both old and new.
We will continue with this drive of improvements over the winter months to ensure Guildford Lido remains a key destination and an asset to the local community for many years to come. As a result, there are exciting and extensive works planned including;
- Replacement of all 6 boilers
- Installation of pool covers to reduce our impact on the environment
- Routine maintenance to pool and pool surrounds
