Due to the great summer weather we've been enjoying, we've extended the season until 30 September! From 1 October, the winter programme will begin. We will be introducing memberships for 'All Year Round Swimming' that will replace season tickets as we're now open all year-round.

What is the difference between Lane Swimming & Public Swimming?
For lane swimming you’ll be guaranteed the maximum number of lanes that we can provide for that session however for Public Swimming some of those lanes will be removed to provide more space for other recreational swimmers.
What other facilities will be open?
The café will be available serving hot and cold drinks and snacks so you can relax and unwind after your swim.
Do I need to book in advance?
No, all sessions will not need to be pre-booked in advance. If you prefer, you can do online as normal.
Is the water heated?
Yes, making it comfortable for fitness swimming and training — even in the winter months.
What should I wear?
Standard swimwear is fine. Wetsuits, rash vests or thermal layers are welcome if you prefer extra warmth.
Are lifeguards on duty?
Absolutely. Fully trained lifeguards are always on poolside whenever the Lido is open.
What facilities are available after my swim?
Hot showers and refreshments are available on site. We recommend bringing a robe or warm layers to use between pool and changing rooms and suitable footwear.
What about lane etiquette?
Lane swimming is divided by speed (fast, medium, steady). Please choose your lane honestly, keep to the left, and let faster swimmers pass at the end of the lane.
What if the weather is bad?
Rain doesn’t stop us — the pool is open in most conditions. In the event of lightning, severe storms, or other safety concerns, sessions may be paused or rescheduled for your safety.
Can you swim after dark?
Yes, we've installed temporary energy efficient LED lighting on poolside so the whole pool can be used.
We look forward to seeing you soon.
