Adult Swimming Lessons Yeovil
Do you want to learn to swim or improve your skills in the water? Whether you’re completely new to swimming or looking to build confidence and technique in the water, our experienced and friendly instructors will help you to achieve your goals and have fun at the same time.
We offer both group lessons for adults as well as private lessons.
We follow Swim England's learn to Swim Pathway
We work in partnership with Swim England to deliver a high quality Learn to Swim Programme for all ages and abilities.
All our instructors are experienced and fully trained to deliver the Swim England Learn to Swim Programme and are fully DBS checked.

It is the national syllabus produced by Swim England to assist and support the delivery of swimming lessons.
Our lessons are led by our Swim England qualified swimming teachers and each class are up to a maximum of 10 swimmers. We will provide a variety of different fun-based activities to help the swimmers learn new skills and throughout the lesson they will provide feedback and instruction to help each individual swimmer develop.
We encourage each and every child to learn at their own pace. Some children are more naturally competent and confident in the water and may progress faster. Other children are slower to learn new skills but can quite often become stronger and more proficient swimmers as they progress.

The main pool is 25 metres long and 12.5 metres wide. The learner pool is 12.5 metres long and 8 metres wide.
Baby swimming lessons are less about teaching infants to swim and more about getting them used to the water and learn skills that support cognitive development. We offer sessions for babies from 12 months and upwards.
All our swimming lessons take place at Goldenstones Leisure Centre, Brunswick Street, Yeovil, BA20 1QZ.
