Group Exercise programme
We’ve got a packed programme of classes from Boxfit to Yoga, Pilates to Zumba. Join as a member and you can access all our classes anytime.
Aqua Aerobics
Aqua Aerobics classes are a great way to mix up a traditional class with the wondrous benefits of water. It only takes a few aqua sessions and you’ll see a big difference in your overall fitness.
Indoor Cycling
We specialise in Indoor cycling in our dedicated studio. Led by a team of highly trained instructors it’s not only great fun, very social but is guaranteed to improve your fitness.

Well-equipped and spacious gym
Our equipment is a combination of machines such as treadmills, cross-trainers and climbers alongside other weight resistance machines including free weights.
Stretch and functional area
Stretch and warm-up before and after your workout in our designated stretch area.

Using GL1 is not all about the gym, you can swim or take up Aqua Aerobics or play a game of badminton with friends and family. There is so much to do and you'll find a visit to GL1 very satisfying, it will boost your energy levels and can help improve your self-esteem. It’s also a great way to get active with like-minded people!

Pop along to the centre or get in touch and we’ll talk you through the options on how to get started. Everyone has their first time in a gym – we’re here to help make sure it won’t be your last time!
Absolutely! Joining a gym can have many benefits for your health and social life. Not only will you have access to a variety of equipment and facilities that can help you improve your overall fitness, balance and flexibility, but it’s also a great way to meet new people who share your interests and goals.
One essential item is a water bottle to stay hydrated during your workout. You might also want to bring a towel if you plan to shower afterwards. If you enjoy listening to music while working out, don’t forget your headphones and charger.
Yes, Monday to Friday the gym is open until 9pm, and on weekends until 5pm.
