Friendly, qualified instructors are always on hand to welcome you to GL1. We are here to offer advice on how to get the best out of your visit to the gym.

Well-equipped and spacious gym

Our equipment is a combination of machines such as treadmills, cross-trainers and climbers alongside other weight resistance machines including free weights.

Stretch and functional area

Stretch and warm-up before and after your workout in our designated stretch area.

We'll help you get started

To familiarise you with our gym and to get to the best out of your visits, we'll give you a short introduction and guided tour.

Most people have a specific reason to take up exercise. Whether that's to lose weight, tone up or just generally feeling fitter and healthier. Using GL1 is not all about the gym, you can swim or take up Aqua Aerobics or play a game of badminton with friends and family. There is so much to do and you'll find a visit to GL1 very satisfying, it will boost your energy levels and can help improve your self-esteem. It’s also a great way to get active with like-minded people!
