At Freedom Leisure Crowborough, we are continuously working towards reducing our carbon footprint and making our leisure centre as energy efficient as possible. However, our objectives don’t stop at our own front door. We are also committed to increasing awareness amongst our customers and below are some ideas for a greener method of travel for getting to the leisure centre..........
What better way to start you workout than coming to the leisure centre under your own steam. There are two entrances in to Goldsmiths Recreation Ground if you are walking or cycling. You can access the centre through Eridge Road (A26) and via the footpath off of Pilmer Road. There are also bike racks outside the centre which can be used to secure your bike.
Bus routes from Uckfield, Tunbridge Wells and surrounding areas run past the leisure centre daily. Please see below for more information about bus routes and timetables.
Crowborough train station is based on Crowborough Hill about a 5 minutes drive and a 30 minute walk from the centre. There is also Eridge Station which is based just off the A26 towards Tunbridge Wells which is a similar distance. Bus routes which stop outside of the centre travel past both of these stations. Please see below for timetables.
