There are disabled car parking spaces in the car park that can be accessed via Fore St.

All levels of Chard Leisure Centre are fully accessible to wheelchair users, via a lift, and have wheelchair friendly toilet facilities.
Pool hoist & pool stairs
We have a pool hoist and pool stairs available for easy access to our swimming pool.
Accessible changing and shower facilities
Both our pool and gym changing facilities are fully accessible. Our pool side changing facilities also include a hoist.

Yes, the cost is 80p per hour, between 8.00am – 6.00pm Monday to Saturday.
We have Teen gym sessions available for 11-15yrs and 12yrs + are able to use the gym at any time as long as they are supervised by an adult (18+) and have had a full induction beforehand.
We have a 1 adult to 2 children under 8 policy. Children over 8yrs who can swim 25m unaided do not need to be supervised by an adult in the water.
No, we have membership and pay as you go options available for all our activities.
Yes, you must contact the Centre to book.
No, you only have to book for specific classes or activities with restricted numbers such as fitness classes and pool inflatable sessions.

Yes, we have a lift to the activities on the first floor and accessible changing areas. We have a hoist for the pool and are awaiting accessible steps to arrive.
This is where the pool is open for recreational swimming, for all ages and abilities.
The lane swim is where the pool is divided in to lanes, allowing only lengths to be swum. There is Fast, Medium and Slow lanes available.
