At Bexhill Leisure Centre, we offer a varied programme of over 45 classes a week including Boxercise, Yoga, Indoor cycling in our MyRide studio and Pilates. Our sessions are ideal for people with busy schedules, with a range of day and evening classes that allow you to get fit and active at a time that suits you. Best of all, classes are free to those with memberships oand we also offer pay-as-you-go options too.
Please note: if you arrive later than five minutes after a class has started, you may not be permitted entry. Arrive in plenty of time to collect your receipt and set up your workstation in the studio.
Yoga Bexhill
This ancient Indian practice harmonises the body, mind and spirit. Through a series of poses and controlled breathing exercises, yoga enhances strength, flexibility, balance and overall wellbeing. With its holistic approach, yoga not only tones the body but also calms the mind, enhancing inner peace and mindfulness.
Pilates Bexhill
A low-impact, full-body workout that focuses on core strength, flexibility and mind-body connection. Our sessions include a series of controlled movements performed on a mat where we concentrate on precise movements that engage the deep abdominal muscles, improve posture and enhance balance and stability.

Cardio classes
Our cardio classes are designed to get your heart rate up and maintain a higher level of intensity. Classes include, Boxercise & Freedom Step.
Strength & Conditioning
Our strength and conditioning classes will help raise heart rate and and work on strengthening and elongating the muscles. Classes include Freedom Pump & Barre Concept.
Mind & Body
These classes work on building the connection between your mind and body. Although lower impact these are by no means easy. Classes include Yoga & Pilates.
Indoor cycling
Led by a team of highly trained instructors, our cycling classes include MyRide Tour, Drill, Studio and Freedom Indoor Cycling.

Why take part in classes?
Possibly the best thing about group exercise is the very fact it is led by a professional. Unlike going solo in the gym or at home, attending a class is the next best thing to having a personal trainer, making it a really affordable way to spend time with someone who can help you achieve your fitness and better body goals.
It’s also a lot of fun, with an added social element to keep you motivated to return week after week and remain active for longer.

With a Freedom Leisure membership, you will receive some fantastic offers, perks and benefits! You can book via reception or online via our app. You can book all classes up to eight days in advance.
Our instructors will be able to tailor all classes to meet the fitness levels of the whole group. Please have a quick chat with the instructor prior to the class if you have any specific concerns.
Non members are able to book (and pay) for their class on the day.
Sessions can be booked eight days in advance if you hold a membership with us. Pay-as-you-go users can book 24 hours ahead.

Yes - our Freedom Café serves a range of hot and cold beverages including Dom Luca coffee. It’s a great place to relax and unwind after a fitness class!

This depends on your personal fitness goals and availability. As a general rule of thumb, beginners should participate in two to three exercise classes a week and consider increasing the number of sessions as fitness levels improve. Ultimately, the most important thing is to find a class you enjoy and challenges you each time.
Participating in a fitness class is not only great for your health but exercising in a group adds a fun, social element and will help to keep you motivated so you continue taking part every week.
