With 20% of Worcester’s population aged under 17 years, we will be developing a wide range of innovative programmes including Youth Sports Activities, School Sport, Friday Night Projects, learn to swim and the Junior Summer Fitness Challenge to encourage young people across Worcester to be more active.

School Sport

worcester active communities aim to provide schools with excellent school sport sessions using both internal coaches and external coaches. Having provided school sport services for many years, our team is able to quality assure all coaches and ensure all sessions are delivered to the highest standards.

Swimming is a fundamental life skill that everyone should have the opportunity to develop and help them stay safe near the water.

Perdiswell Leisure Centre works in partnership with Swim England and offers a great environment for children from 3 months of age or to learn how to swim, improve their swimming skills or find new aquatic challenges at our Freedom Leisure swim school.
