active young people

With 16.8% of the Stafford borough’s population aged under 16 years, we will be developing a wide range of innovative programmes including Xplorer, Smash up, This girl can, learn to swim and the Junior Summer Fitness Challenge to encourage young people across Stafford to be more active.

As a nation, this is the first time that those having children in this decade, may out-live their children as a result of inactivity. Freedom Leisure has a responsibility to provide affordable and engaging opportunities for our young people across Stafford. We continue to work with local schools and colleges to develop even more activities for those aged 5-16.

school holiday activities

We offer a fantastic range of activities will help keep children active and entertained throughout the holidays across Stafford and Stone.

Activities give children plenty of opportunity to socialise and learn loads of new skills from taking part in a range of sports, leisure and craft activities at some of the top facilities in the borough including Stafford Leisure Centre, Rowley Park Sports Stadium and Alleyne’s Sports Centre.

Church youth clubs

Come down and try your hand at a range of different activities such as table tennis, pool, cooking and many more! There's even a tuck shop and cold drinks to buy!

Places are limited for safety reasons and places will be allocated on a first come first serve basis. Once capacity is reached a reserve list will be started, please contact the youth club leader for more information.
