active communities

Across Malvern, Freedom Leisure manages 4 Leisure Facilities including Malvern Splash, Sport Dyson Perrins, Sport Martley and Tenbury Community Pool.

The Active Communities Team also work with over 50 community groups and organisations to develop even more opportunities for local people to get involved in fun activities. The team also works across hard to reach communities including priority wards such as Pickerlseigh and local priority groups; women and girls, active aging, children and young people, those with disabilities or long term illness and those on low income

We support and deliver events, deliver activities, promote wellbeing campaigns and set up specific community-led programmes to help in making the most of where people live.

The Big Splash Dance

Following the success of last year’s flash mob, having over 130 dancers in the park – we are doing it again!

A mass flash mob in priory park to celebrate physical activity and the wider benefits it can have! Suitable for everyone and anyone. All children must be accompanied by an adult. Dancers, non dancers, two left footers - we welcome you all!

Free dance classes to learn the routines are being held through April, with the performance due to take place on the 7th May.
