Welcome to Healthy Communities Woking
We want to support the health of the nation enabling people to live longer, happier and healthier lives. As a not-for-profit charitable leisure trust, supporting individuals and communities to be more active and healthier is at the heart of everything we do. We believe in ‘health at all ages’; we want the local communities we serve to have fun, feel welcome, included and empowered to live healthy lives.
Our Healthy Communities Team in Woking
Across Woking, Freedom Leisure manages 4 leisure facilities including Woking Leisure Centre, Pool in the Park, Eastwood Leisure Centre and Woking Sportsbox as well as the borough sports pavilions. The Healthy Communities team works with hard to reach communities including priority wards and local priority groups; women and girls, active aging, children and young people, those with disabilities or long term illness and those on low income.
Our aim is to help our community to be healthier and enjoy better physical health, mental wellbeing and social interaction.
We offer grants and support for local athletes
