Join the Energy at Freedom Leisure – Do Good Feel Good!
At Freedom Leisure, we’re all about positive vibes, great people, and making a real impact. Yes, we run leisure and cultural facilities, gyms, and swimming pools - but at the heart of it all, it’s our people who make the difference.
As one of the UK’s leading charitable leisure trusts, we’re proud of our mission of Improving Lives Through Leisure. We’re here to help communities live healthier, happier lives by making our centres welcoming, inclusive, and accessible to everyone - because everyone deserves to feel good. We’re all about delivering amazing customer service with a smile - every single day. We create spaces where people feel at home, supported and inspired.
We’re proud to be a workplace where everyone is welcome, valued and supported to thrive - because when our team reflects the communities we serve, we all grow stronger together.
Ready to roll up your sleeves and make a visible, commercial impact across a whole leisure group – not just one site? We’re on the hunt for a Performance Impact Manager who lives for results and loves being where the action is. In this deployable and mobile role you’ll ignite commercial performance across Freedom Leisure’s UK-wide centres – ramping up footfall, driving income and inspiring teams to deliver commercial results. If you’re commercially sharp, hands-on and ready to turn insight into impact at pace, this is your next move.
This is a high-impact mobile role working across our UK portfolio of centres, partnering with Regional and Area Managers and local site teams and working with other commercial impact managers to deliver consistent commercial success.
The role: action, energy and impact
As Performance Impact Manager, you’ll be at the heart of our commercial delivery – leading by example on the ground and ensuring our teams have the focus, tools and support to succeed.
You will:
Commercial Delivery
- Work with Area and Regional Managers to develop and execute action plans that boost performance.
- Spot and share opportunities for new business, improved programming and local commercial initiatives.
- Support underperforming partnerships and sites through targeted deployment – delivering hands-on coaching, commercial support and recovery.
- Lead the implementation of local and group campaigns that increase participation, footfall and customer spend.
- Coordinate and communicate group-wide membership sales campaigns, ensuring consistent, aligned delivery across all partnerships.
- Play a key role in month-end motivation, energising Area Managers and site teams to maximise sales and conversion.
Operational Support
- Act as a deployable commercial resource across the group, flexing your support to where it’s needed most.
- Coach, motivate and support local managers and front-line teams to build commercial capability and confidence.
- Work side-by-side with teams on site to embed effective commercial practices that deliver measurable results.
- Help local teams interpret performance data, take ownership and act on it to improve commercial outcomes.
Collaboration & Teamwork
- Work closely with other commercial leads (Aquatics, Children’s Activities, F&B) to align delivery and maximise total site income.
- Partner with Regional and Area Managers to plan deployment activity where it will have the greatest impact.
- Collaborate with Marketing & Communications to plan, schedule and deliver group-wide and local campaigns.
- Share success stories, learning and best practice to lift commercial performance across the group.
In the event that a high volume of suitable applications are received, the post may close prior to the specified closing date. Please apply as soon as possible if interested.
