Booking to visit our centres

Following the government's guidance, when we open from 25 July we need to limit the amount of people using our facilities to ensure they are safe. Please check the following list detailing what system is in place to manage numbers - online booking, offline booking or limited numbers with no booking.

Please see the guidance below for how to book in advance to visit the gym, come for a swim or take part in a group exercise class.

If you are unsure what system is in place please call your centre rather than turning up in person.

Gym

Online

  • Members can book up to 5 days in advance. Please bring your membership card with you to the session.
  • Non-members can book up to 1 day in advance
  • Individual members/ non-members are limited to 1 session per day
  • Gym sessions will be up to a maximum of 1 hour (60 mins)
  • Arrive no more than 10 minutes before the start of the session. Please ensure you are early as you will need to fill out track & trace data prior to commencing your session.
  • You must check in at the self-serve kiosk if available or if the site doesn’t have a kiosk, check in with reception.
  • If you arrive late then your session will not be extended and will still finish at the session end time.

Offline (email &/or phone)

  • Members can book upto 5 days in advance. Please bring your membership card with you to the session.
  • Non-members can book up to 1 day in advance
  • Individual members/ non-members are limited to 1 session per day
  • Gym sessions will be up to a maximum of 1 hour (60 mins)
  • Arrive no more than 10 minutes before the start of the session. Please ensure you are early as you will need to fill out track & trace data prior to commencing your session.
  • You must check in at the self-serve kiosk if available or if the site doesn’t have a kiosk, check in with reception.
  • If you arrive late then your session will not be extended and will still finish at the session end time.

No booking system in place

  • Members / Non-members - There in no need to book in advance for your gym session.
  • Session numbers have been capped due to social distancing measures so you may need to wait for an available space.
  • Gym sessions will be up to a maximum of 1 hour (60 mins)
  • Please ensure you bring your membership card with you and show this on arrival. We will be taking track & trace details from every member / non-member using our facilities.
  • You must check in at the self-serve kiosk if available or if the site doesn’t have a kiosk, check in with reception.

Lane Swimming

Online              

  • Members can book up to 5 days in advance.      
  • Non-members can book 1 day in advance.          
  • You are permitted to book one swim per day, but local variations may apply – check with your local centre.        
  • Please only book a swim session if you fully expect to attend. Those who regularly book then cancel may have their booking rights suspended.         
  • Booked sessions are for up to 45 minutes in duration only.          
  • Please ensure you arrive for your allotted session on time with your swimming costume under clothing and only use cubicles after your swim and not before.             
  • Please arrive no more than 10 minutes before the start of the session and ensure you have your valid membership card with you. You will need to fill out track & trace details prior to the session start.
  • You must check in at the self-serve kiosk if available or if the site doesn’t have a kiosk, check in with reception.
  • Late arrivals will be admitted but will only have until the end of their booked slot not the full session time from the time of arrival. 
  • Sessions will finish promptly so ensure you are ready to leave at the end of your timeslot.          

Offline Bookings (via email/ phone same as prior to closure)      

  • Members can book up to 5 days in advance.      
  • Non-members can book 1 day in advance.

  • Please only book a class if you fully expect to attend. Those who regularly book then cancel may have their booking rights suspended.
  • Please arrive no more than 10 minutes before the start of the class and ensure you have your valid membership card with you. You will be required to leave immediately after the class to allow staff to clean down the facility.
  • Mats will be provided but please bring your own personal exercise mat if possible.
  • You must check in at the self-serve kiosk if available or if the site doesn’t have a kiosk, check in with reception.
  • Please arrive ready to start your class as changing facilities may not be available.
  • Late arrivals will not be able to attend the class.
  • Classes will be shorter in duration and will finish promptly to include time for any equipment to be cleaned after the class has finished.
