Important update to Freedom Leisure Privacy Policy

It’s all in the detail

As you may know a new EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) will be coming into effect on the 25th May 2018. 

This gives individuals more control over how their data is used and places certain responsibilities on organisations that process information for those individuals.

We believe the most important details, are yours our customers - and to keep the information you share with us as safe as possible. To comply with the new rules we have updated our Privacy Policy to make it even more transparent about how we collect, process and share the personal data you have entrusted to us and your rights, together with our obligations, in relation to the regulation changes.

Our Privacy Policy explains the measures we’ve put in place to ensure that your information is kept secure and how you can control the use of your data – knowing that you can easily update and change it and withdraw your consent at any time. 

We will only ever use the details you share with us to help make your fitness and well-being experience the best it can be, and nothing else.

You can choose to opt out from receiving marketing communications at any time, by clicking on the relevant unsubscribe link at the bottom of any marketing related email you may receive from us or by emailing data.protection@freedom-leisure.co.uk.

You can easily manage your marketing preferences by clicking on the “Preferences” section in the body of our email newsletters. If you prefer, you can also call our Customer Service team and express or change your preference to not receive marketing communications (Tel. 01825 880260) or send an email to data.protection@freedom-leisure.co.uk with your name, email address (if different to the one you are using) and the subject line “Unsubscribe".
