The 4 day Level 3 Active IQ Award in Education and Training is a qualification that provides an introduction for those who wish to teach or train adults. It is increasingly becoming a minimum requirement for anyone wishing to work in Further Education or wishing to be approved by an awarding body or training organisation (such as Freedom Leisure Training) to deliver training courses.
While we offer open course dates for this training, if you have a number of staff who need to attend it may be more cost effective to book a on-site course, on days and at times that suit you.

You will learn about the principles of learning, teaching, assessment and evaluation. You will also learn how to plan and deliver effective teaching, developing your confidence, communication and inter-personal skills.
There are no formal re-requisites, but it is expected that learners will either have some training or teaching experience, even if informal, or the confidence when trained to be able to train or teach adults in a course setting.
You will be assessed by the tutor through the completion of assessments and you will also be asked to deliver a micro teaching session towards the end of the course.
This Course is delivered over four days, please see details below
