The 2 day Active IQ Assessor Award course and qualification are designed to enable candidates to cover all the essential principles and practices of assessment including assessing competence and achievement and are designed to help in the building of an evidence based portfolio. You will be assessed using a variety of methods including observation, witness testimony, interview and discussion, oral and written questions, assignments, projects and case studies. Teaching methods will include whole group teaching, small group and pair work. A range of activities will help you investigate the key concepts of assessing, planning, questioning techniques and providing constructive feedback to learners and others.
While we offer open course dates for this training, if you have a number of staff who need to attend it may be more cost effective to book a on-site course, on days and at times that suit you.
