Refurbishment update 31/10/2018
Having begun a £1.1 million refurbishment at the Centre in August, we are delighted to be progressing. We have just completed a refurbishment of our activity room which is now a full Group Exercise Studio with semi sprung floor, mirrors and air conditioning. This new room can also be used for a range of activities. Look out for new classes starting on 5th November. We also continue to remodel and improve the first floor changing rooms and showers.
Work is also progressing on our gym extension and we are pleased to announce that we are planning to reopen our new and extended gym with functional space on 17th November. This will mean we need to close the gym from 12th – 16th November to remove the old equipment and receive the new delivery of our state of the art strength and cardio equipment from Technogym.
During the week closure we will be running additional circuit classes:
monday 12 november: 8 - 8.30am (studio 2), 12 - 12.30pm (studio 2), 3 - 3.30pm (studio 2) & 6 - 6.30pm (studio 2)
tuesday 13 november: 9.30-10am (studio 2), 12.30 - 1pm (studio 2) & 3 - 3.30pm (studio 2)
wednesday 14 november: 11 - 11.30am (studio 2), 2 - 2.10pm (studio 1), 4 - 4.30pm (studio 1) & 6 - 6.30pm (studio 2)

friday 16 november: 8.30 - 9am (studio 2) & 11 - 11.30am (studio 2)
On the ground floor we are currently progressing well remodelling reception and the existing café area with the introduction of Costa Coffee. This will also be reopening in November. Date to be confirmed soon.
These improvements follow the completion of the pool hall air handling unit, installation of pool covers to assist with energy saving and new energy efficient lighting throughout.
In partnership with Tandridge District Council we are delighted to announce that refurbishment works at Tandridge Leisure Centre started on 6th August for completion by the end of the year. Improvements include the remodeling of reception and the existing café area with the introduction of Costa Coffee, the addition of a brand new studio, an extended gym space, replacement of the existing gym equipment, remodeling of changing rooms and showers and energy efficiencies throughout the building. The leisure centre is very much open for business as usual as we plan to keep disruption to facilities to a minimum.
We are looking to invest £1.15 million on capital schemes, energy saving projects, and refurbishment of the centre with works to be complete by the end of the year.
