Swim School and the 'new normal'

August 15 2020

We're nearly ready to welcome our swim school back! We've been busy ensuring we are adhering to government guidelines and Swim England guidance in order to make sure we are providing a safe environment for children to attend their lessons.

what we're doing...

  • Adhered to government guidelines and Swim England guidance
  • Reduced capacity of lessons
  • Revised the pool layout
  • Created a one way system in the pool changing rooms
  • Created a drop off and pick system from poolside
  • Increased chlorine and ventilation levels
  • Implemented a comprehensive cleaning regime in the pool change
  • Sanitising all equipment between lessons as required

general pointers...

  • Follow the one way system at all times
  • We will allow one parent or guardian to spectate
  • Parents can wait in their cars during their lessons if they wish
  • Contact time at reception must be kept to a minimum, any discussion about class changes, awards or general enquiries must be made by e-mail or over the telephone
  • Showers are not available at the end of the lesson
  • Toilets are available on an emergency use basis. Please ensure your children make use of the toilets at reception before their lesson, if necessary.
  • Strictly no changing in the pool gallery

We literally cannot wait until swimming lessons are back! Jack has really missed it and we are keen to make up for lost time.
