The Sportivate programme funded through the National Lottery and Sport England is currently in its sixth and final year. The programme aims to engage children and young adults (aged 11 - 25) in 6 - 8 weeks of coaching in a sport of their choice. Nationally, Sportivate aims for 300,000 young people to take part in the programme and inspire over 120,000 to carry on playing sport regularly.

Within Worcester City, Freedom Leisure aim to strengthen and support their partnerships which involve those with; clubs, coaches, volunteers, schools, colleges, universities, local businesses and wider community groups. We aim to work with National Governing Bodies to ensure exit routes into sport specific clubs are as strong as possible, providing as many new opportunities for all Sportivate participants.
