There are many coaching and volunteering opportunities available within Worcester City. The team supports coaches and volunteers of all ages and abilities to gain access to; training courses, placements, volunteer opportunities and paid work where possible. We have strong links with Schools, Colleges, Universities, Sports clubs, Sports & Leisure Centres, Disability Sport Worcester, Play schemes and Community Sport Links within the City. Are you a local coach? Are you interested in coaching or want to volunteer more? Not sure how to progress or make the most of your skills? The Sports Partnership Herefordshire & Worcestershire are there to help! Through www.sportspartnew.co.uk/coach you can find out more on coaching opportunities. Coach Web is a county coaching and volunteer forum/website where you can showcase your skills for organisations to see. You can access a wide range of subsidised and local training courses to develop your skill set. The Sports Partnership also provides a number of Coaching Bursaries to support coaches or volunteers in achieving those expensive qualifications to progress further in a coaching career. sport makers

The sporting community is not just made up of coaches and athletes. Volunteers have a huge role in helping with the delivery and coordination of sporting events and activities.  The Sport Makers programme provides thousands of people with the skills, knowledge and opportunities to bring sport to life at a local level. earn as you learn

Earn as you Learn, is a University of Worcester programme that provides part time work and work experience placements for students. The scheme is designed to help underpin their studies whilst benefitting the local community. For more information click here.

club leaders

Club Leaders provides free training and support to those doing the day-to-day running of community sports, helping create a robust, economically sustainable and enterprising club network. Club Leaders is being delivered by Pricewaterhouse Coopers (PwC) who are working with Sport England to help improve business skills in sports clubs by bringing their knowledge and experience to the programme. Registering with Club Leaders gives you access to all of the learning, support and networking opportunities.
