What made you join the centre? The friendly staff and the chilled atmosphere - it's not intimidating at all and everyone is genuinely really nice and helpful! The price of the membership is also very reasonable, I like that the classes are included in the price.
What are your fitness goals? I started running in April - I'm currently managing to run 5k every other day but I would like to push myself and get to 10k in the next few months!
How have you been getting on? I think I've been doing really well! I feel much better in myself and I genuinely look forward to going to the gym in the evenings now haha!
What kind of things have you been doing in the gym? I like to alternate using the treadmill/bike and then the weight machines. I also like to do a little HIIT workout using the kettle bells.
What classes have you tried/planning on trying? I would really like to try Yoga on a Saturday morning.
How do you feel after a workout? If I'm being honest I feel shattered at first but then feel like I have a sudden burst of energy! I always give myself a little pat on the back knowing I have smashed a workout or run, especially if I didn't feel like going.
What advice would you give to someone thinking about starting to exercise? I would say come along to the gym and have a look around before joining if you're a bit sceptical or anxious - talk to the staff about your fitness goals and what you would like to achieve as they can help you and give you the push you need.
