I used to look at some of the bits of gym kit in belwilderment until I plucked up the courage to book in a coaching session. I can now use the DAP cable machine for a huge variety of exercises.


Get the most from your membership!

When you first take out a membership to use the gym at Sandwich, it can seem a little daunting. There's lots of equipment to get your head around and then how to use that equipment to get the best results.

We want to make sure you get results and value from your membership and that is why we are offering you the opportunity to take advantage of up to three complimentary half hour Inspire coaching sessions within the first 12 weeks of joining. A fully qualified gym instructor will gladly show you new exercises to try, how to get the best from the gym equipment or answer any questions you may have about your exercise programme.You can also ask for regular six weekly reviews of your gym programme to ensure you are getting the most from each of your workouts.

Once you're feeling more at home in the gym and you have taken advantage of the instructor support, we then offer a FREE one hour Excel PT consultation with one of our team to keep pushing those boundaries and fitness levels. 

Sessions are completely free on a premier membership but must be pre-booked at reception.

Personal training

It's easy to fall in to a comfortable routine in the gym where your muscles get used to the same resistance and weight loads and your mind gets bored of doing the same workouts. If you feel you are falling in to this pattern then one of our Our Excel PT packages would be perfect for you. Let an instructor mix up your workouts and show you how to use some of the machines and weights in different ways for better results.

  • Bronze - £35 - 1 x hour one off session
  • Silver - £150 - 1 x 1 hour session per week for 6 weeks (works out at £25.00 per session)
  • Gold - £250 - 2 x 1 hour sessions per week for 6 weeks (works out at £20.83 per session)
