Have you ever wanted to try a class?

With a packed group exercise timetable, choosing the best class for you can sometimes be tough. We recommend trying as many classes as possible as this is the best way to see what ones are for you!

Here are some short descriptions of some of the classes we have on offer to help you choose.

Step - This class focusses on improving different components of fitness. Including cardiovascular fitness, strength and endurance, with the use of step stations.

Indoor Cycling - Is an exercise class focussing on endurance, strength, intervals, high intensity and recovery. This class uses stationary exercise bikes.

Tai Chi - Is an exercise class that is low-impact, slow motion exercise. Tai Chi will take you through a series of motions and martial arts moves without pausing, you breathe deeply and naturally, focussing your attention in this mind and body class.

FreedomFit - This is a 30 minute interval class which uses your own body weight to increase your metabolism, burn fat and get you fit fast.

Attack - A high energy sports inspired fitness class with plyometric work and high intensity training. Aimed at improving cardio fitness, power, strength and endurance. Lower intensty options are given throughout the class to ensure all ages and abilities can participate.

Pilates - Mainly floor based exercise, focus on correct breathing technique, alignment of the bosy, strengthening muscles, stretch and balance. Using core strength to improve back strength, posture, muscle tone.

Active4Life - A low impact circuit based class suitable for cardiac rehab as well as anyone wanting to gently improve cardiovascular fitness. A chance to meet new people in a sociable group environment.

Zumba - Red hot dance steps and easy to follow routines, this invigorating dance fitness party will have you moving to the groove of salsa, cumbia and samba. Work your body from head to toe and target the core muscles, thighs and abs.

Pump - A workout that requires very little co-ordination, set to music using barbells. Each track of music works a specific muscle group.

Bootcamp Circuits - A traditional workout where participants can work as hard as they want, moving from station to station using a range of equipment.

LBT - A conditioning class to tone up those legs, bums and tums.

Piloxing - A mixture of pilates, boxing and dance. High intensity but no impact. Improves flexibility, balance, muscle definition and posture.

HIIT - High intensity interval training, including cardio and strength.

Abs, Core - 30 minute abs and core class.

Kettlebells - Improve your strength and muscle definition using kettlebells.

Body Combat - This interval training programme is fiercely energetic and is inspired by mixed martial arts! This class uses moves from karate, kung fu, boxing, taekwondo and more. You will strike, punch and kick your way to cardio fitness.

Body Balance - Is the yoga based class that will improve your mind, your body and your life. During this class an inspired soundtrack plays as you bend and stretch through a series of simple yoga moves and embrace elements of tai chi and pilates.
