Here at Rye Sports Centre we believe that everyone should be able to swim. Not only is it an important skill that can save lives but it also means everyone can enjoy the water and have the confidence to ‘jump in’ on holiday, at the beach or at your local swimming pool.
Children can start their swimming journey with us from as little as 6 weeks old during our Parent and under 5's sessions. This is the ideal time to start as lets face it, they've been swimming for 9 months (give or take) so this should be home from home!
At school age they can join either our group lessons which mainly take place after school or at the weekend and we'll take them through the Swim England stages all the way to being a competent and confident swimmer, or if you prefer a more intensive, personal approach we can offer one-to-one lessons to suit you.
It's never too late to start your swimming journey so if you missed out as a child we can still help you. Whether you're a complete beginner or looking to improve your technique and skills, we at Rye have an adult swim programme to suit your needs.
If you have a child interested in starting swimming lessons, or if you would like to enrol, contact us on the enquiry form below and we will be in touch with more information.
