Sports, games, arts & crafts, competitions and much more... Our holiday clubs are jam packed with exciting things to keep the kids active and entertained during the school holidays. Suitable for ages 5 - 12.
Our holiday clubs are a perfect way to keep the kids entertained. Throughout the day the children get the chance to take part in sports and arts and crafts activities or performing arts. The arts and crafts activities will be themed each day. Children can attend for a whole day, between 8am and 6pm or for mornings and afternoons. Included in the sports activities are multi skills, football, basketball, table tennis, swimming, athletics and much more.
Our Holiday Day Camps are for children aged 5 - 12 (5 year olds MUST be in year 1 at school) which operate from our sports hall during school holidays, with the exception being between Christmas and New Year.
Full and Half days are available. A full day is 8am - 6pm and a half day is either 8am - 1pm or 1pm - 6pm.
Prices are as follows:
Full Day Member (£21.50) / Full Day Non-Member (£24.00)
Half Day Member (£12.00) / Half Day Non-Member (£14.00)
Each day is a different theme and our activities will revolve around it.
Children have access to fantastic bouncy castles, arts and crafts, sports and games equipment and quiet areas throughout the whole day.
Children 8 years and over can swim every day if they would like to. Staff are in the water with them and their area is separated from the general public. Please provide swimming kits.
Children require two snacks and a healthy packed lunch. Water is provided throughout the day. Please ensure that your child has a re-fillable bottle with them. We ask that parents/guardians hel[s us guard against reactions experienced by allergy sufferers by not sending in lunch boxes or as snacks, any nut-based products such as peanut butter, Nutella, chocolate spreads containing nuts, snickers, or similar items. Please be aware that we are unable to operate a completely nut free policy and traces of nuts may be present in lunchboxes, in our cookery activities and in products we sell from our cafe. Please speak to a member of staff if your child has any allergies.
Each child must be registered fully with Freedom Leisure, prior to each individual holiday period (i.e. Half Term, Summer Term). You can pick up a consent form from reception or complete one on the first day your child attends.
All parents/guardians must complete the medical section on the consent form, giving permission for emergency medical treatment for their child in the event of a serious accident or illness. Whilst we endeavour to co-operate with parents fully in supervising administration by the child of medicine at times due when they are attending the club, this cannot be done without written consent with FULL instructions being provided by the parent/guardian. All medication must be fully labelled and given to the supervisor at the start of the day.
Payment must be received in full before any child is admitted to Day Camp.
At each drop off, the child must be signed in and have their details checked before the parent or guardian can leave.
No personal electronic devices or money are permitted during day camps (i.e. phones, tablets or video game consoles). It is not recommended that children bring personal toys or items to day camps, as they can easily be lost, damaged or stolen. Freedom Leisure takes no responsibility for any loss or damages to personal items.
We reserve the right to remove any child from our day camps if their behaviour is not acceptable. This includes language, physical actions and interactions with other children.
If your child becomes ill during day camp the parent/guardian will immediately be notified and asked to come and collect the child. Any children who have been ill should not return to day camp until they have fully recovered.
Staff are not permitted to administer sunscreen, they can only supervise. Please provide your child's own sunscreen.
Please notify staff if your child is going to be picked up by somebody other than their noted parent/guardian. We cannot let a child leave without prior notice of this and permission will be sought from their noted parent/guardian if this situation occurs.
Our policies and procedures are available upon request. If you wish to obtain copies please contact the duty manager.
Day Camp bookings are non-refundable unless a doctor's note is provided. It may be possible to transfer bookings within a given holiday period; however this will be at the manager's discretion.
The club acknowledges that at times, parents/guardians or others connected to the club may have concerns about the service we provide. We hope to resolve any concerns, in the first instance, by talking to the person raising the concern and then by taking appropriate and prompt action. However, if the club receives a formal complaint about our service verbally or in writing we will investigate the complaint, take any necessary action and report the outcome.
If you are dissatisfied with or have a concern about any aspect of day camp you should, in the first instance, take up their concern with the Supervisor. If you not wish, for any reason, to raise the matter with the Supervisor, you should be directed to approach the Duty Manager. If the matter is not satisfactorily resolved after informal discussion and/or written correspondence and the person raising the initial concern wishes to make a more formal complaint, any complaint will be dealt with by the management team. The management team will acknowledge receipt of the complaint as soon as possible and will then investigate the complaint and take action as appropriate.
