We have made some changes to how we run our session to keep everyone safe.

We are happy to announce from the 1st September our Swimming Lessons will be back.


Over the coming days we will be contacting parents and carers of children already enrolled on our swim school subscription.


To ensure the safety of you, all children and our staff we have made a few changes to how we conduct our lessons. Please read these changes to help us all stay safe whilst our lessons are running.

Changes we have made

  • We have reduced class capacity by 20% to allow for social distancing within lessons.
  • We will operate a strict one way system throughout your lesson.
  • Teaching aids & equipment will not be shared within your lesson and will be cleaned thoroughly after the lesson has ended.
  • Swimming teachers will now teach all lessons from outside the pool.
  • We have trained all of our swimming teachers in RLSS Reach-Rescue Qualification or full NPLQ Lifeguard Qualification.
  • Changing rooms and showers will not be available. Accesses to toilets will be available 1 person at a time.

Changes for you

  • Please arrive 5 minutes before your lessons starts.
  • Swimmers must be “beach ready” with swimwear on under their clothes.
  • All swimmers will enter poolside via the ground floor viewing area.
  • All parents/carers will be asked to wait outside the centre whilst lesson are running.
  • Under 8’s can have 1 parent/carer who will be able to spectate from an allocated chair on poolside.
  • Swimmers will need to bring a Towelling Robe & Slip-on shoes for after their lesson.
  • Children must be collected from the Fire Exit located at the side of the pool.
  • Please maintain a social distance of 1 meter + at all times
