Women Get Active supports female gym users to develop the techniques and skills to use Free Weights in the Gym.

Women Get Active!

Women get active is a new scheme created by our personal trainer Jaz. The aim is to help women gain confidence in using free weights.

Benefits of Free Weights for women include;

  • Gaining strength by building lean muscle, without 'bulking out' 
  • Strengthens muscles and increases bone density. This reduces the risk of fractures, builds stronger connective tissues and increases joint stability which, as a result, helps prevent injury
  • boosts your metabolism
  • Helps improve mood and relieve stress

First taster session dates are as follows

Wed 26th May: 7pm - 8pm

and

Friday 28th May: 12pm - 1pm
