My son is a regular participant in junior gym sessions but was keen to start using more of the weights. This course provides the tools to educate him on lifting so eventually he will have the knowledge to lift safely & effectively independently.Jessica
Young Person Strength Academy
We want our younger members to use our gym safely and get the most from their workout, that's why we have launched our strength academy for 14-18 year olds. These structured small group sessions are a brilliant introduction to learning how to power lift effectively to burn calories and increase muscle strength. Suitable for both male and females, who have regulary attended junior gym sessions, you can expect to learn how to dead lift, back & front squat, bench press and military press all under strict qualified supervision.
Our first 6 week course commences on November 4th. Course members may attend some or all of the 3 sessions provided per week every Monday, Wednesday and Friday 4.30-5.30pm.
This foundation course is designed to work towards progressing our younger users to eventually work out independently in the gym having been taught correct and effective lifting techniques and correct gym etiquette.
