Drowning prevention week is a national campaign from the Royal Life Saving Society UK (RLSS). By spreading water safety advice far and wide, drowning prevention week aims to teach people how to stay safe near water. This year it's running from 15th-25th June.
Our swim school teaches all the children enrolled about how important water safety is including, retrieval, entry/exit from the water, floatation and swimming skills.
We will be offering adult/child/baby CPR training and demonstrations on Tuesday 19th, Thursday 21st & Sunday 24th June between 3.30 & 7.00pm.
We are also launching Rookie lifeguard classes commencing on Sunday 24th June 5.00-5.45pm for children aged 8-12 years and who have achieved stage 6 in our swim school programme.
