When will my first payment come out?

This will be around the 20th January and will be the same date each month.  Cash will need to be taken for the first months lessons before the first direct debit is taken, which will be for February’s lessons.

Will the lessons be changing?

No, lessons will be the same time and day throughout the year; they will only have a new name. Teachers will also stay the same unless otherwise informed.

When are continuous assessments happening?

This has been introduced this term; therefore there will not be an assessment week at Christmas. Teachers are assessing continually and will move your child as soon as they are ready.  The teacher will give the office a transfer card who will then contact you with availability.  They will automatically be enrolled onto January’s lesson unless you wish to change days/times, which can be done the week commencing 12th December.

What happens if we have lessons on a Monday with bank holidays?

You will be issued a refund as and when the bank holidays come around as we will not be running lessons.

Will there be a badge week?

No, awards are given by the teacher when your child moves up a group, as well as different points throughout the term when certain criteria are met. These can be purchased from reception for £3.

Swimming hats

Your child will now be issued with a swimming hat. Each stage has a different colour and a new hat will be issued each time your child moves up to the next stage.  If a hat is lost or needs replacing, it will be a £1 charge, purchased from reception.

Are EYB lessons 42 or 50 weeks?

EYB lessons will be running 42 weeks of the year alongside the parent and baby and parent and toddler lessons. This means that we will not be running through the Easter, summer or Christmas holidays, but will be running through the half terms in February, May and October.  The name of EYB lessons will also be changing to pre-school stage 1.

Are there any benefits for parent and baby/toddler lessons?

Yes. From January, if you are enrolled onto lessons you are entitled to 1 free adult swim during any public session in the teaching pool when the child is present with you.

PLEASE NOTE:

DIRECT DEBIT FORMS MUST BE HANDED BACK TO THE COURSES OFFICE BEFORE 30TH NOVEMBER IN ORDER TO SECURE YOUR CHILDS PLACE FOR JANUARY’S LESSONS.
