The Royal Life Saving Society National Pool Lifeguard Qualification course (NPLQ), will qualify you to work as a Lifeguard in any public swimming pool.

CYQ Level 2 Chair Based Exercise

Course Details

The CYQ Level 2 Award in Chair Based Exercise for the Frailer Older Person course is to provide trainers with the knowledge and skills to deliver a prescribed programme to the frailer, older person.

Open Course Price

To attend an open course, the price is £200 per person (no VAT to pay).

Syllabus

The course covers:

Underpinning knowledge of anatomical and physiological changes
Screening and programme planning
Practical delivery of exercises for groups and individual

Assessment and Certification

You will be assessed though worksheets, theory paper and practical observation of a session.

Pre-requisites

The course is aimed at mature students, with experience of working with older people, no pre-requisites are required although a valid CPR/HSE approved first aid course is recommended.
