Delivering the Training On-Site

If you have a number of staff (say 6 or more) who need to attend it may be cost effective for you if we came to you on a day and at a time that suits you.  

On-Site Price

To deliver this 3 hour course anywhere in Sussex, for a maximum of 12 people, the price is £250 plus £5 per person.  If you are a school, local authority or other partner organisation, the price is £210 plus £5 per person.  Additional costs may be added for courses run outside Sussex.

The cost is fully inclusive of trainer, manuals and certificates, but does not include venue hire or refreshments.  Please note that the venue must be suitable for the course (please ask us for our advice if you are uncertain).  The price quoted is the price you pay – VAT is not applicable.  To book your training or discuss prices, please contact us.

Course Details

The Basic First Aid course, covered over 3 hours, is an ideal introduction to essential elements of First Aid.  It is not approved by the HSE, but will provide a level of competence in low risk workplaces and can complement existing First Aid at Work or Emergency First Aid at Work qualified personnel.

Syllabus

The course will give you confidence in dealing with basic first aid incidents and includes assessing the situation in an emergency, dealing with an unconscious casualty, cardio-pulmonary resuscitation, wounds, bleeding and shock.

Assessment, Certification and Re-Certification

The course has no final assessment, however the trainer continually assesses trainees.  Trainees will receive a certificate at the end of the course and the qualification lasts for three years.
