Classes vary from site to site so download the class timetable that is relevant to the site that you wish to use.

Active Plus
A class for the over 50's. Good fun, social and will help you maintain your heart and lungs as well as bone and muscle density. An aerobics style class with exercises to suit the over 50's. Hand weights may be used

Aqua Attack
Taking aqua fit to a new level. Combining strength and power exercises with aerobic moves to make a full cardio and toning workout. Shallow end only, using aqua mitts but not noodles or dumb bells

Aquafit
A fun swimming pool based class ideal for those looking for a low impact class that can help muscular tone and endurance at a lower aerobic intensity. Aerobic & Resistance exercises using Aqua mitts, noodles and dumb bells. The deep end of the pool may be used but at the participants choice.

Bike it! 30, 45, 60
Group cycling - where will your journey go? Bike it will take you on a calorie killing, fat zapping ride to fitness. We bring you the music, the visualisations and the motivational techniques to help you succeed. If you already cycle, our techniques can really help you improve your efficiency on a bike and also boost your fitness for those hills. Why wait! Ride your way to looking great…but be warned it's addictive!

BodyPump
A pre-choreographed body toning class with weights. A 60 min class consists of 10 tracks, one for each body part. Also some body weight exercises such as lunges, squats and press ups. Change you body shape forever! Bodypump is a great class for people of all ages and fitness levels. Do you want to improve your muscle density and tone and improve the shape of your body to look great? The class involves a full body routine using adjustable weights to suit your ability. You will also become skilled in safe and effective lifting.
NB: BodyPump Technique must be attended before this class, allow time to set up your equipment at the start of the class, please don't be late as it disrupts the class

BodyBalance
A pre-choreographed class incorporating moves from pilates, yoga and tai chi. A 60min class is split into 10 tracks focusing on different areas such as balance, leg strength and abdominals. Bringing mind and body into balance and harmony this holistic class blends static stretches and dynamic movements into a fluid routine. The session focuses on helping you develop your joint mobility and flexibility whilst also controlling the movements from the core muscles. This is also a great compliment class to a higher intensity workout. You'll leave this class feeling fresh and invigorated.
NB: Bring something warm to wear for the relaxation section which may be conducted in the dark or with candles, this class is generally conducted bare foot

BodyCombat
A pre-choreographed class, a 60min class is formatted into 10 tracks. Combat tracks combining kicks and punches, power tracks just the arms and fast!!! "float like a butterfly, sting like a bee". Our instructors will have you buzzing to the latest soundtracks with some powerhouse moves and stances. Bodycombat has been developed from a range of self defence disciplines including karate, tae kwon do and tai chi. An empowering, athletic, non contact class that will push your limits to the next level and get you fighting fit in no time.
NB: BodyCombat Technique/Beginners must be attended before this class

BodyCombat Beginners
Learn the basic moves, Jab, Cross, Uppercut, Hook, Knee, Front Kick, Back Kick, Side Kick and Roundhouse Kick. Never tried combat before? This beginner's class is ideal if you are new to combat. As the class is only 45minutes long it's also ideal for those of you who are short on time but still want a great workout
NB: Focus pads may be used in this class

Boot Camp Circuits
Based in the sports hall, a traditional old school circuit class. Push yourself to the limit with this military style circuit class. Test your desire to have a hard tight body. Are you tough enough? Don't be afraid! All fitness levels welcome.

Boxing Circuits
Fight your way to fitness with this box-a-cise style class. Combining aerobic and resistance exercises to target the whole body, using barbells, dumb bells, punch bags and skipping ropes for a great endurance workout. A combination of boxing based exercises, circuit training and conditioning moves" non contact !
NB:exercises are explained in the first 5 mins of the class before the warm up so please be on time

Fitball
The torso and back muscles give you the platform to perform any movement, this class involves the use of stability balls enabling you to become stronger in those core body areas by performing movements whilst stabilising the body. You will benefit from improving the condition of muscles involved in daily activities. If you are involved in sports this class is also highly recommended. Some weights may be used in this class.

Freedom Circuits (Gym)
Mix it up! Freedom circuits brings you the best of all worlds. Station based activities that change weekly giving you a fun and varied class. Your strength, endurance, agility and speed will all improve with regular attendance. This class is also very social and is great if you want to meet new people. Using Gym machines and also Free weights and Body weight exercises. Cardio and resistance.
NB: A gym induction should be attended before this class, exercises are explained in the first 5 mins of the class before the warm up so please be on time

Latino Aerobics
What a combination! Aerobics and dance taking influences from salsa, mambo and cha cha. Incorporating simple use of choreography and routines plus a great aerobic workout. All levels are welcome.

Look Better Naked! (LBN)
You might look good naked but you could look better with this total body toning class. Featuring a range of conditioning moves using dumbbells, dynabands and bodyweight exercises (press ups, sit ups, squats) to sculpt your body.
NB: please allow time to set up the equipment.

Legs Bums & Tums (LBT)
Does exactly what it says. This definitive class is an ever present on our programme with aerobics mixed with lower body toning exercises to get in great shape at moderate aerobic intensities. Basic Step moves may be included in this class

Pilates
A mat based class using the original principles of Joseph Pilates. The essence is for control, strengthening the deep abdominal and back muscles. Improves muscle control, strength and co-ordination. General level, ideal after completing one of our workshops or introductory courses.
NB: a pilates workshop must be attended before this class

Salsa Basic Steps
Learn the basic moves before joining the main class

Salsa
Why not try something totally different. Salsa classes are great fun and can really lift your spirits. With skilled teachers on hand to help you develop your dancing skills this is fantastic way to keep your heart and lungs healthy and enjoy a different rhythm to your session.

Stepping Out
A 60 min outdoor group walking class.

Step & Tone
A classic high intensity fat burning class. Uses an adjustable step platform. A choreographed step class with extra squats and lunges to tone and shape those legs and bottom.

Total Tone
A traditional class, combining aerobics and step with toning exercises such as squats and ab curls.
NB: Some weights may be used in this class, but not always

Yoga
Due to the wide and varied nature of postures and techniques, yoga can be practised by almost anyone regardless of age, from very young, to women during pregnancy, to older people alike. There is a form of yoga to suit everyone with different sets of exercises prescribed for different people accordingly.
