Car parking at peak times: As you may be aware, the car park at K2 Crawley was extended by 78 spaces in the summer of 2009. This has had a positive impact at busy times including weekends and evenings.
The centre is currently experiencing high levels of usage as we are in the peak period for leisure and physical activity.
Please be advised that additional overflow parking is located in Broadfield Park. Take the entrance into Broadfield Park that is virtually opposite the main K2 Crawley entrance and follow the road around to the top until you see parking bays directly in front of you.
This is free council parking and will be available from 5pm-10pm on weekdays and all day at weekends. This will involve a short 2 minute walk so if you have difficulties walking for this length of time, please use the accessible parking bays in the centre if you have the relevant badge. All customers are advised to use the crossing available to get across the A23.
All customers that use the overflow parking should be aware that this is not owned or managed by Freedom Leisure and customers do so at their own risk.
K2 Crawley is well served by cycle paths and pedestrian routes. A lit segregated footpath / cycleway runs from Canterbury Road, Tilgate, across the A23 at the traffic lights to link with Broadfield cycle and pedestrian routes.
How to get to K2 Crawley:
If you are driving the entrance to K2 Crawley is off the A23 Pease Pottage Hill.
The Number 2 bus runs to and from K2 every 15 minutes via Ifield West, Crawley Town and Tilgate. Fastway stops are located along Southgate Avenue approximately 5 minutes walk from the centre.
