active play project
delivering safe play in the community...
Active Play is funded by the Big Lottery Fund and is a project which is aimed at delivering free play sessions for ages 5-16 years throughout Wealden.
The Active Play team over the next 7 months will be visiting parishes across the district with their
- mobile skate park
- drama workshops
- play, games and sports
- arts & craft making
- electronic dance mats
The team will run drop in sessions at local village halls, schools and recreational grounds, with each young person completing a free registration form at their first visit.
Under 8's must be accompanied by an appropriate adult at all times whilst at the Active Play session, parents/ carers are very welcome to attend.
