A spacious, air-conditioned hall with a sprung maple floor, professionally equipped stage and standard PA system. This is the largest of our function rooms and can accommodate up to 360 business presentations or large-scale events. The hall has excellent acoustics and two levels of lighting to give maximum flexibility. Ancillary areas are also available, which can be used for refreshments, registration and displays.

Sheldrake Suite

The Sheldrake Suite a large and particularly versatile space. This area has a total capacity for a large number of people but can be divided into two or three individual sections, each section with its own access. Such flexibility gives the advantage of providing a great area for meetings.

The Griffin Room

The Griffin Room is located in a quiet position on the first floor. This light and airy room with pleasant views to the South Downs is exceptionally spacious. With the additional benefit of independently controlled air-conditioning, the perfect environment can be created to suit your requirements.

The Pheonix Room

Situated on the lower ground floor, this is the smallest of our function rooms. Up to 45 delegates can be accommodated in air-conditioned comfort. The Phoenix room is a popular choice for more intimate meetings and also provides an excellent ‘break-out’ area for our first and ground floor function suites.

Our fully stocked and serviced bar offers flexible opening times based on your event. Adjacent and accessible to the main hall, we are also able to provide a late licence if required.


By day our cafe is fully operational offering a delicious range of light lunches and specials. Adjacent to the main hall space this area can act as a great ancillary space for your event whether it is for catering, displays or as a breakout. It can also be hired independently, ideal for talks or a small party. It is served by a full bar facility.


The spacious foyer can be hired independently for coffee mornings, displays and exhibitions or it acts as a fabulous ancillary area which can be used for refreshments, registration and displays. The foyer offers disabled toilet access.
